Prince’s Chambers, City Centre, Birmingham.

The Princes Chambers Building is a well-known landmark in the heart of Birmingham city centre. During the winter of 2016 the building underwent a full refurbishment of the external façade including stone cleaning, stone repair, window replacement, roof repairs and anti-roosting measures. The contracted was led by Berbens Ltd working with Damp~Tech (midlands) Ltd to complete the strengthening of the façade ties using Twistfix Helibar Wall Ties and extensive repairs to the quoins & stone face using selected Mapei products.

Damp~Tech Roofing also completed the main roof restoration works by relaying the original roof slates onto new breathable membrane & treated lath. All parapet valleys & box gullies were renewed in code 6 lead & welded on site.

Hi Paul, can you express our thanks to all your personnel and contractors involved in the Princes Chambers Project……..The project has been completed to both time & budget but, more importantly, has gone without a hitch which for a city centre position over the festive season was no mean feat………Also I must comment on the excellent finish that has been achieved, this has gone down very well with my colleagues at Birmingham City Council.

Kind Regards
