Upper Norchard Farm, Dunley. Date; August 2018
Built in the 1800’s Norchard Farm is a building of brick & stone walls which had undergone slight separation over the years. The owners engaged Damp~Tech (midlands) Ltd to complete the extensive structural restoration & strengthening repairs of the stone walls through a series of long ties rods inserted deep into the stone wall fixed through the brick wall anchored with a detail of 8mm Helibars, Cementious Grout and Resin Anchor Bond supplied by TwistFix, the ties were fitted in-conjunction with a comprehensive programme of Helibar crack stitching throughout the external masonry skin. The repair detail was designed and installed by Damp~Tech (midlands) Ltd.
